The Per Diem Administrative Assistant works independently to perform or coordinate varied administrative tasks requiring depth of insight, awareness, and sensitivity to impact on past or developing situations. Good judgment and timely action are essential. This position handles details of a confidential nature and does provide administrative services for the Manager, Corporate Programs & Planning and Team. This position has considerable contact with clients and employees, which requires poise, diplomacy and courtesy.

 

Salary: $25.00p/h

Please note that this is a Per-Diem role

This is a hybrid position, you must be commutable to Edison, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary administrative support and as initial point of contact for Manager, Corporate Programs & Planning.
  • Provide administrative support for Professional Education Team.
  • Attend Team meetings as requested.
  • Assist in coordination of Prof Ed events on and off site.
  • Facilitate meeting logistics for team members including but not limited to arranging room, supplies and lunch as required for Prof Ed events on site.
  • Attend onsite Technical Education Forums and assist with set up, clean up and break down
  • Provide administrative support for confidential documents as needed by team members
  • Provide support for creating and deploying various client invoices.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of Prof Ed supplies.
  • Maintain the upkeep and organization of the Prof Ed storage room.
  • Assist on special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

  • Specialized Knowledge, Technical Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills required.
  • Proven ability to function with integrity and confidentiality required.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and prepare written correspondence, including but not limited to to business letters and memorandums.
  • Excellent grammar and spelling skills.
  • Team oriented: strong relationship management and interpersonal skills required: must be able to build productive, collaborative work relationships both inside and outside of organization.
  • Ability to effectively and independently multi-task and problem solve required.
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment and adapt to change quickly while meeting organizational goals required.
